Jon A. McGuire, 64, beloved husband, father, granddaddy, brother and friend passed away February 5, 2010. He was a member of Sons of The Confederacy and First Baptist Church of Parrish and was a 6th generation Manatee County resident. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; son, Jon Daniel McGuire; daughter, Mary Ellis (Tom) Bonds; brother, Hugh (Carol) McGuire; sisters, Mae (Tom) Moss, Kaye (Jim) Oakley and grandchildren, Tommy Bonds and Nathaniel Bonds. Service will be held Tuesday, February 9, 6:30 pm at First Baptist Church of Parrish, 12125 71st St. E., Parrish with Rev. Joe Skidmore officiating.
